A Personal Chef Organic Catering
About Us
You shop locally. Eat an organic diet. Live sustainably. Shouldn't your celebrations and life cycle events reflect those values? Well, now they do. Personal Chef Organic Catering is an entirely new kind of caterer. In an industry that practically defines unsustainable, this company stands apart.
We shop local, sourcing every possible ingredient and all our handmade artisan specialty items from the surrounding area. We have forged partnerships with like minded farms and local businesses. We are relentlessly focused on reducing our footprint. We strive daily to realize our dream of a totally sustainable, locally sourced organic business.
But lest you think all that sustainability comes with a hippy sensibility toward the food, never fear! We are devoted foodies and endlessly search out the finest quality artisan offerings. We combine ingredients in new and unusual ways. We delight in bringing exotic recipes to this region. We never force anyone to choose from a set menu - perish the idea!
Proprietress Rebecca Friedman learned much of what she knows about the business working for the best caterers in the Bay Area. Influenced by the fresh and seasonal philosophy of California cuisine, Rebecca and her staff work with what is available at the time of your event. We don't serve pesticide-laden strawberries shipped in from Mexico at a February dinner party!
We take utmost care crafting each and every event, large or small. You will relax and enjoy your party, secure in the knowledge that every detail is looked after, every dish delicious and beautifully presented. We provide full service catering, and will gladly take care of your staffing needs, vendor coordination, rentals, and whatever else might be needed to ensure a flawless event.
We are delighted to offer a complimentary consultation to any prospective client. We are also happy to hear from prospective suppliers who may have a product we are not yet using.
Your Personal Chef is also capable of having any event Kosher-certified should you require it. Just ask!
