Smiling Hara is a family operated producer of organic, non-GMO Tempeh, located right here in Asheville, NC. We offer the highest quality traditional soybean tempeh, as well as soy-free varieties including Black bean and Black-eyed Pea! When in season(Nov.-Mar.), all of our soybeans come from Peaceful Valley Farms in Old Fort, NC. You can find Smiling Hara Tempeh in over 35 restuarants in Asheville and the surrounding area, as well as in the freezer and deli's of your favorite healthfood stores throughout the South.
