Haywood's Historic Farmers Market, located in Waynesville at the HART Theater and Shelton House parking lot on Pigeon Street (Hwy. 276), is just a short distance from Main Street. The new market, which opened Sept. 3rd, 2008, will continue offering locally grown fresh produce, herbs and perennials beginning Wednesday, May 12th, 2010. Value-added products including breads, baked goods, meat, eggs, cheese, jams, jellies and preserves, will also be offered, as well as juried heritage craft items.
