Producers of natural raw honey. Specializing in locust, tulip poplar, sourwood and mountain wildflower varieties. Our bees are managed without chemical or antibiotic treatments and our honey is a pure as any honey in the Appalachian region can be. We are bordered by organic farms and the Pisgah National Forest. Our bees water in the edges of a clean trout pond in front of the apiary and forage mostly from trees in the Pisgah National Forest. Of course some do vist the local organic farm to pollinate, but we believe Sourwood Knoll honey to be as pure as can be produced. Wax, pollen, and other bee products available on a limited basis. Survivor stock honey bees bred right here at Sourwood Knoll are also available on a limited basis depending on seasonal factors.
