Coffey's Orchard at Coffey Grounds

Listing Appalachiangrown

Our small Century farm sells apples, fall produce, and fall decorations in season (please call ahead). From mid-September to mid-October, we offer educational farm tours predominately to school children. We also welcome groups of families, Scouts, seniors, home schoolers, etc. We offer year-round fiber arts programs and in-school programs, workshops, and craft projects on various topics. Reservations required for all. Highlights of our grade-level-based agri-education tours ($5/individual above 2 years)include learning about taking care of an apple orchard, a wagon ride, a demonstration of our antique apple grader, a corn maze some years, and seeing beautiful scenery. Call 828-964-2645 or 828-406-2930 for directions to the farm rather than relying on GPS. Please call ahead to check on varieties and quantities of apples available.

We have an exceptionally small number of apples this year due to the excessive cold weather in our area in mid April. We do not have any apples or other fall products to sell. Please try us again next year.
