The Watauga County Farmers Market has been in operation in Boone, NC since 1974. Up to 75 vendors offer quality locally farmed produce and plants, as well as locally made crafts and edibles. Come and visit Saturday mornings from May through October, and Wednesday mornings June through September. There is a special Holiday Market the Saturdays before and after Thanksgiving.

We have the High Country's finest selection of:

Quality produce from local growers.
Seasonal fresh fruits and berries.
Local jams, jellies, mustard and honey.
Fresh baked breads, cakes and pastries from our country kitchens.
Fresh farm eggs.
Fresh and aged goat cheeses.
Locally farmed meats and livestock.
Fresh herbs and herbal products including teas, salves, vinegars, soaps and potpourri.
Fresh-cut and dried flowers, wreaths and arrangements.
Farm based crafts: wool, birdhouses, pottery, baskets and handcrafted yard art and garden furniture.
A large selection of plants, including annuals, perennials and shrubs.

Look for new and unique items every week, as well as special events, live music, cooking demonstrations, and children's activities.
