Welcome to the online interview for providing information about your farm or business for use in ASAP’s website and publications. Here is some basic information.

How long will this take?
Make yourself comfortable; it takes most people 15-30 minutes to enter the information shown here. If you don’t have time to finish, or you get interrupted, don’t worry – you’ll have created a user name and password, and you’ll be able to sign back in and pick up where you left off.
Where does the information go?
All listings go in the online Local Food Guide, and most will go in the printed Local Food Guide. Due to space limitations we may not include some farms which appear to sell little or no food, or which are outside the distribution area for the printed guide. ASAP also prints the Local Food and Farm Map and The Mixing Bowl, a farm to chef directory. Along the way we’ll ask you if you want to be in these publications, and if you do we’ll have a few more questions for you for each.
What if it doesn’t work?
If you get stuck at any time, we are available to receive your listing over the phone. Call us at (828) 236-1282 and our seasonal Local Food Guide specialist will call you.
What about next year?
We will contact you by email and phone every year in the late winter for that Spring’s publications. If we can’t reach you, we stop promoting your farm or business, as we are committed to only publishing accurate and updated information.
How much does it cost? How do I pay?

For farms and tailgate markets: all publications are free of charge. You can choose to pay an optional $25 partner fee; this gives you a 50-word description in the Guide, a special symbol beside your farm listing, and the good feeling of having supported the production of the Guide. You can choose to take out a larger display ad in the Guide and/or Map at reduced farm rates.

For businesses: a basic listing in the Guide costs $80 per year. A $50 rate is available for businesses with annual sales less than $75,000. Chefs can be listed in The Mixing Bowl farm to chef directory for no additional charge. To be listed on the Local Farm Map you must advertise; rates start at $425. Display ads in the Local Food Guide start under $200, contact Melissa Fridlin-Howell to reserve your ad space.

We do not currently accept credit cards. When you finish this online process, you will be cued to print an invoice for any relevant fees and send in a check.
