Dry Ridge Farm

About Us

Graham and Wendy raise sheep, meat chickens, laying hens, rabbits and heritage breed hogs at Dry Ridge Farm. We abide by Animal Welfare Approved standards of care, raising all our animals (besides rabbits) on pasture, without the use of hormones or feed antibiotics. What makes us different? We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, and on focusing on the triple bottom line: economic, social, and environmental. That's why 10% of our profits will go toward funding our meat donations for community members in need. We sell our products through farmer's markets and directly to restaurants and retailers, and would love to hear from you!

Why We're the Farm for You

Dry Ridge Farm is different from many farms, because Graham and Wendy have experience in the industries to which they sell. In addition to years of farming experience, Graham worked in restaurant kitchens for four years and Wendy spent two years starting and managing a grocery store. At Dry Ridge Farm, you can expect, not only excellent quality, humanely-raised meat products, but also excellent customer service. We'll deliver exactly what you ordered, at a convenient time, and you can count on consistent product and availability. We'll have 100 fresh chickens ready for market every two weeks in early 2012, with lots of pork and lamb available by September 2012. In addition, we strive to help increase food security throughout our community. We'll allocate 10% of our profits to funding meat donations for community members in need. We'll also accept donations, eventually through our own non-profit, to fund the cost of raising some of our animals to be donated. At Dry Ridge Farm, you can expect excellent quality and service from a farm that is focused on the triple bottom line: economic, social, and environmental.
