Nestled in a valley on Big Rock Creek, the Harty Farm specializes in log grown shiitake and oyster mushrooms, early strawberries, locally harvested honey, hormone and antibiotic free rabbits, and a variety of pesticide free vegetables. Sales at the Bakersville Farmers Market on Sat. morning and the Spruce Pine Farmers Market on Wed. afternoon.
