The Mixing Bowl: Farm to Business Trade Directory

Sunswept Farm

About Us

We are a family farm listed with Handmade in America. We are crafts people too, growing and collecting food naturally. Our intent is to build community through the resources of Place, with nature and engaged in awakening to the long view. We will stay small and connected with our food offerings being mostly attentive to our becoming more and more a part of our land. Whether berries, apples, libations, branch lettuce or fish, we offer the freshest homegrown food available with the possibilities of work for trade of produce. We are a land conservancy and protect almost 70 acres of forest and pasture, most part of the forever wild project, never to be developed. The loggers have not been in these woods for over 100 years, and in the high property never, so old growth rare in WNC is vibrantly alive with rare forest flora only found in long standing woodlands. Guided walks are available, best in late April and early May and in the fall.
